After the first clinical symptoms appear in the prodromal phase, patients transition clinically into mild cognitive impairment (MCI), which eventually results in AD dementia (ADD). The clinical manifestation of AD is generally preceded by a relatively symptom-free preclinical phase. Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) is the most prevalent form of age-related dementia.
